Rates and Total Duration of Psychotherapy Sessions in accordance with Psychotherapy CPT Utilization Codes
$300 per 60 - minute initial evaluation or follow-up - over 52 minutes is billed at this rate
$225 per 45 - minute session - over 37 minutes is billed at this rate
$150 per 30 - minute session - over 15 minutes is billed at this rate
Assessment rates vary by length of time spent by Dr. Tamargo in the administration of appropriate tools, interpretation of data collected and report writing necessary to answer the referral question in accordance with the rates listen above. Assessment Tool prices are based on time spent with Dr. Tamargo in accordance with time rates listed above.
Pre-Bariatric Surgery Psychological Evaluation rates depend upon the specific assessment required by the insurance company. Assessments, when covered by insurance, often require prior authorization. Payment is expected at the time of the appointment.
Insurance
Services may be covered fully or partially by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Dr. Tamargo's office will bill your insurance on your behalf for your convenience; however, she is an out-of-network provider except for TRICARE. Specialist Co-payments are expected at the time of the session. Once the known patient's out-of-pocket expense is, that payment is expects at the time of the service.
Payment
Cash, check and Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards are accepted for payment at the time of your visit.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24-hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
